On the afternoon of August 28, the first domestic promotion conference of the Lagos Free Trade Zone in Nigeria, West Africa, was successfully held in Guangzhou, hosted by the Lagos Free Trade Zone Company, exclusively organized by the Guangdong Manufacturing Association, and supported by the Guangdong Leather Association.
Senior leaders of more than 40 high-quality enterprises, chain leader enterprises, specialized and new small giants, and industrial chain supply chain enterprises that intend to expand overseas markets, including Liby Technology Group, Guangri Elevator, Jinzong Machinery, Yutai Industry, Outlet Lighting, Baiji Intelligent Electrical, Huiyuan Yinke, Liantai Steel Structure, Sinotrans Express, Fengze Textile, Guangte Electric, and Hong Kong Jinchanchan Trading, attended the meeting.
Long Guowen, executive president of the Guangdong Manufacturing Association, the sole organizer of the conference, and Chen Wanri, secretary general of the Guangdong Leather Association, the supporting unit, delivered speeches respectively. President Long of the Guangdong Manufacturing Association said that my country is promoting the construction of a new development pattern, and China-Africa development is entering a new stage. The Guangdong Manufacturing Association and the Lagos Free Trade Zone Company have exclusively cooperated to hold this promotion meeting of the Lagos Free Trade Zone in Nigeri a, one of the four largest economies in Africa, in order to strengthen the in-depth development of China-Africa cooperation, create a new model of China-Africa economic and trade cooperation, and help Guangdong enterprises deeply understand the resource advantages of the Lagos Free Trade Zone in Nigeria and deal with the impact of European and American trade barriers, seize the opportunity in time, layout the blue ocean market in West Africa, and smoothly "go overseas" to invest and start businesses, and compose a new chapter of win-win cooperation between China and Africa in the new era.
Afterwards, Mr. Tejaswi Avasarala, the head of Lagos Free Trade Zone Company in Africa, introduced the business overview of Africa. Wei Yubang, the chief representative of Lagos Free Trade Zone Company in China, made a special presentation on "Strategic Layout in Nigeria, Introduction to the Advantageous Policies of Lagos Free Trade Zone". Representatives of participating enterprises asked questions on the spot and discussed potential projects with the head of Lagos Free Trade Zone Company on investment matters in the free trade zone.
This conference is the first promotion conference jointly held by the Guangdong Manufacturing Association and the Lagos Free Trade Zone Company. The conference aims to let Guangdong entrepreneurs further understand the resource advantages of the Lagos Free Trade Zone in Nigeria, West Africa.
