The Manager – Finance (Treasury & Stores) will support the Finance Controller in managing treasury and stores-related finance functions, with a primary focus on strengthening stores management and financial controls. The role ensures accurate accounting of inventory, loans, deposits, and insurance transactions, supports timely monthly closures, and establishes robust, compliant processes. It involves close coordination with internal teams, banks, insurers, and auditors, effective use of ERP and inventory systems, and supervision of team members to ensure accuracy, discipline, and adherence to internal policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: • Support the Finance Controller / Sr. Manager in managing day-to-day treasury and stores finance operations. • Take ownership of store accounting and inventory financial controls, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Design, implement, and continuously improve robust and fool-proof processes for store management, inventory movement, valuation, and reconciliation. • Ensure monthly closing entries related to stores, inventory, loans, deposits, interest accruals, and treasury transactions are accurately recorded. • Monitor and account for loan and deposit transactions, including drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, accruals, and reconciliations with lenders. • Manage insurance-related accounting, including policy accounting, premium payments, claims tracking, provisioning, and reconciliation. • Act as the primary finance interface with insurance brokers and insurers, ensuring timely renewals, adequate coverage, and proper documentation. • Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, loan balances, deposits, inventory, and insurance accounts. • Support internal and external audits by providing timely information, schedules, and explanations related to treasury, stores, and insurance. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies. • Assist in identifying automation and system improvements within treasury and stores processes, including ERP and inventory modules • Provide periodic MIS and analysis to management on inventory, treasury positions, loans, deposits, and insurance exposure
