EHS OFFICER (1 year Contract-Renewable)

•	Provide safety leadership and guidance for the workforce
•	Identify and assess hazardous and unsafe situations; and implement effective safety solutions
•	Carry out regular site inspections to check OHS policies and procedures are being implemented properly.
•	Participate in and / or lead incident investigations, reporting and actions closures.
•	Conduct tools, equipment and machinery are safe for use
•	Prepare and provide daily, weekly, monthly Health and Safety Reports 
•	Facilitate EHS training and on-site safety induction 
•	Review the Incident Action Plan for safety implications.
•	Ensure the implementation of EHS Code of Conduct.
•	Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
•	Conducts toolbox meetings and safety stand-downs
•	Monitor LFZ EHS-related activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
•	Prepare work permits and related documents for jobs to be done
•	Manage contractors to ensure LFZ EHS code of conducts for contracts are implemented
•	Ensure PPEs are available, sufficient and suitable for workers and scopes of work
•	Ensure PPE compliance at site.
•	Any other EHS related functions that may be assigned.

Education:

BSc

ISPON level 3 as an HSE minimum qualification

NEBOSH & ISO 45001 certification
