Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Assistant Manager to support the IT department in managing user support, hardware and network infrastructure, and system administration. A critical aspect of this role is proficiency in electronic repairs, especially laptop and desktop motherboard repairs, component-level diagnostics, and soldering. This individual will play a key role in ensuring seamless IT operations and reducing equipment downtime through expert-level technical troubleshooting and repair. Key Responsibilities: IT Support & Management: • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring optimal performance of networks, systems, and user devices. • Supervise and support team members, ensuring timely resolution of user issues. • Maintain and monitor hardware inventory, ensuring readiness and availability. • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related services. Hardware & Network Support: • Troubleshoot, install, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. • Assist with network infrastructure management, including switches, routers, and cabling. • Monitor and ensure the availability of LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, and other IT services. Electronic & Motherboard Repairs: • Diagnose and repair laptops and desktops at the motherboard/component level. • Perform chip-level repairs, reballing, reflow, and replacement of faulty ICs, capacitors, ports, and other components. • Use diagnostic tools and schematics to identify hardware faults. • Ensure repaired equipment meets quality and safety standards before deployment. Documentation & Reporting: • Maintain accurate records of repairs, hardware status, and user support tickets. • Generate periodic reports on system health, incidents, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support roles with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in electronic motherboard repair. • Strong understanding of operating systems networks and hardware configurations. • Proficient in the use of diagnostic and repair tools (multimeter oscilloscope hot air rework stations etc.) • Excellent troubleshooting skills at both the software and hardware level. • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ Network+ or OEM repair training are a plus. • Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
