• Provide legal advisory support on financial transactions, lending structures, and investment arrangements. • Interpret and advise on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to corporate finance Corporate Governance and compliance. • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including financing agreements, service-level agreements, as well as Corporate Governance and compliance policies. • Monitor and advise on Corporate Governance and compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. • Coordinate internal corporate governance and compliance training and awareness programs. • Work closely with business units to assess and manage legal risks associated with operations. • Support internal audits, investigations, and respond to regulatory inquiries as needed. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulatory changes, and emerging legal trends. • Represent the company in dealings with external counsel, regulators, and third parties as assigned. • Assist in developing and implementing the company’s corporate governance and compliance framework and policies. • Support the GM, Legal & Compliance in all department deliverables and provide strategic legal input on company-wide matters. • Engage in policy advocacy by analysing regulatory developments, drafting position papers, and representing the organization’s interests in stakeholder consultations, legislative processes, and industry forums.
